1: What are you tweeting for?

Twitter is a social network used by millions of people, and thousands more are signing up every day to send short messages to groups of friends.
Join Twitter today - it only takes a few seconds. Connect with your friends and other fascinating people. Get in-the-moment updates on the things that interest you.
Twitter’s board has a lot of CEOs on it — hopefully not so many that it deters a new CEO candidate. If that’s the case, go on tweeting to enjoy lots of good information with lots of motivated managers and leaders.

As such feel free to tweet with special hashtags you create or follow, taking some pictures, posting some tweets and sharing some quotes, but if you mean tweeting with the one very unique to you please do and don’t get people all keyed up to talk on Twitter and then…nothing.

Don’t appear incongruent wasting your time using a tool that could connect you with people, when you didn’t follow through and actually use it. Following a common mistake with social media – people do what others say to do even though they are not really following through themselves.

Why don’t you take this grand opportunity to talk to some creative, motivated and aspiring people like the group of developers and designers at Dow Group and open up the process as you plan a website development or redevelopment, design or redesign, or any business solution in mind including a Twitter account and review all of this with them as you create your new twitter account and get started with the right hashtags, pictures, tweets and quotes!
